Teacher Bio

Hey Bulldog fans!  Welcome back to DHS...it is going to be a great year!  I'm Mrs. Randolph and I teach English and ESOL in room 750.  I love being a teacher and truly enjoy my students, collegues and my work.  I had a few adventures before becoming a teacher!

After graduating from high school, I wanted to do one thing...see the world!  My parents did not have the financial means to send me on a trip around the world, so I had to come up with plan b, I enlisted in the Air Force!  I spent four exciting years serving my country while living in The Netherlands.  The four year tour of duty there provided me the opportunity to travel to many countries.  When my four years of service were complete I received an honorable discharge from the United States Air Force.  Then I returned to the U.S. and I knew it was time to apply to college.  I earned my A.A. degree from Manatee Community College and from there I was accepted into the University of South Florida.  After ALOT of studying and determination, I earned my B.A. degree from USF.  Teaching was what I wanted to do next, so I began substitute teaching in Desoto county.  I really liked working at DHS and was excited when I was offered a permanent teaching position here in Bulldog country!  I am currently finishing up my master's degree in English Education, I love learning!

While I am an enthusiastic Bulldog fan, I must remind you that I will always be a USF Bull at heart!  Wink
